Neville, 50, has been group chief executive since November 2002. He joined the Board in 1998 as group finance director after 21 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a partner in the financial services practice. He is a member of the assets and liabilities committee, the nominations committee and the group credit committee and is also a trustee of the Britannia Building Society Foundation. Neville is a member of the Building Societies Association Council and Court of Lancaster University. He is also a director of Mutuo (Communicate Mutuality Limited).
Tim Franklin ACIB
Tim, 46, joined the Board as managing director of the Member Business in 2005. He joined the Society in 2000 from Barclays Bank to set up our e-business unit. He then spent time as head of group strategy and planning before taking responsibility for the Member Business in March 2003. He is a member of the assets and liabilities committee and group credit committee and a director of Mutual Plus.
Phil Lee BSc CA
Phil, 52, joined the Board in September 2002 as group finance director, with responsibility for finance, change management and information systems. He chairs the assets and liabilities committee, is a member of the group credit committee and a director of a number of subsidiary companies. He was formerly finance director at West Bromwich Building Society and previously held senior roles at Bristol & West, Somerfield and Ernst & Young. Following Gerald Gregory's departure from the Group in March 2008, Phil took over as managing director of the Britannia Capital Investment Group. He will retain his responsibilities as group finance director while the Society recruits a successor.
