Our mortgagesWe know that providing mortgages is not all about offering great rates up front, but also providing top class service along the way too. Being a mutual, we always aim to give our members the best deals we can.
Daily InterestUnlike some lenders, we calculate interest on the outstanding balance each day, so as your mortgage balance falls, the amount of interest charged falls immediately too. Even if you only choose to pay off a little extra on your mortgage each month, this means you could potentially save money on interest over the long term. (If you choose to make overpayments please remember to check the terms of your mortgage as some mortgages have early repayment charges.) However, if you missed a monthly payment, the mortgage balance on which your interest is calculated will increase at the end of the month when the unpaid interest is added to the outstanding balance.
What if I want to move house in the future?From the very outset we'll give you as much assistance as we can. All our mortgages are portable so you can take your mortgage with you to your new home, even if your mortgage is still in an offer period (subject to our lending terms).
Conveyancing ServiceConveyancing is probably one of the most important parts of moving home and finding the right company to do your conveyancing can be stressful. We offer fixed cost conveyancing - with a no-sale, no-fee guarantee. So if your sale falls through, you won't have to pay a conveyancing fee, just disbursement costs like local search fees.
