Neville Richardson, Group Chief Executive of Britannia said ‘It is fantastic the number of entries this year has more than doubled. It is great to see such a high standard of work and so many of our staff getting involved.’ The art entries will be auctioned after the presentation of prizes. The money raised from each art work will be split, with 50% going to the artist and 50% being donated to Born Free, Multiple Sclerosis Society and Isle of Man Children's Centre. The charities were chosen by the winners of each category. Last year’s Art Award raised £650 for Clic Sargent. The easels have kindly been loaned by Westwood College to enable the entries to be displayed.
