Britannia aims for the bull's-eye

The Wolstanton Branch of Britannia Building Society has enlisted the help of darts celebrities Phil "The Power" Taylor and Andy "The Hammer" Hamilton to raise money for charity.

The team, based in 121 High Street, has organised a darts knockout competition and those who fancy their chances against the 13 times World Champion, Phil Taylor, can take to the oche.

Sales Advisor, Pat Moran, explained "We have had a fabulous response to the event and we were delighted when Phil and Andy agreed to take part. Local singer John Deka will also be providing entertainment so it should be a great night and everyone is really looking forward to it."

The ticket only event will be held at Porthill Cricket Club on Monday 12 March and has been organised to raise money for Britannia's corporate charity, CLIC Sargent - the leading children's cancer charity.
