Introduced Business


If you're an Independent Financial Adviser looking to introduce mortgage business to Britannia, here's some important information to help you in submitting your applications.

Our Mortgage Introducer Panel


In order to submit mortgage business to us, you will need to be on our panel of mortgage introducers. To register on our panel, you must send us a company letter stating your FSA number.

Procuration fees


We do not pay procuration fees to intermediaries for mortgages introduced to Britannia. However, for members of the Thinc Group, please refer to Britannia's page on the Working in Partnership page for details of our proposition for Thinc advisers.

Britannia Membership Reward


As a Britannia mortgage holder, your client will become a member of Britannia, the UK's second largest building society. That means they'll benefit from our membership reward scheme and could earn a cash reward of up to £250 a year for their mortgage account, subject to scheme rules.

Our lending policy

Our packaging requirements


We require the following information from each applicant:

a) The signed declaration and signed Direct Debit authority form (when submitted via Trigold);
b) The last 3 months pay slips/ 3 years accounts;
c) 2 forms of recent ID, one personal, one with address details (We reserve the right to seek additional information if neccessary);
d) 3 months Bank statements would not normally be requested if applicant/s are on the voters roll

  • Please ensure accounts/accountants references are sent into us promptly.
  • Please specify with each application if fees are to be added to the loan or paid up front.
  • We require your client's credit card details with every DIP. Please ensure that this is completed - we cannot instruct a valuation without this.
  • Credit & Debit Card authorisation to deduct fees.

All our fees are non-refundable - For fee free products or where fees have been added to the loan, we reserve the right to deduct fees in all cases should the application not proceed to completion
