• A Flexible Mortgage may be suitable for people who want to make lump sum or regular overpayments to reduce their mortgage term and interest payable, or people who want to take payment holidays - conditions apply.
• If you're remortgaging and choose Option 2, we'll even give you one free standard valuation and provide a free conveyancing service* - including compulsory disbursements.
• Our rate follows the Bank of England base rate up or down - this means your monthly payments may increase as well as decrease.
• Once you have held your flexible mortgage for 6 months, you can arrange to reduce or miss up to 6 monthly payments in any period of 12 consecutive months, up to a maximum of 18 monthly payments, throughout the mortgage term.
• Alternatively, increasing your monthly payments and overpaying a few extra pounds each month will mean you could repay your mortgage early and potentially save thousands of pounds in interest.
• Interest is calculated daily which means you benefit immediately from any overpayment. However, interest will continue to accrue throughout an underpayment or payment holiday period, in turn increasing the balance of your mortgage and amount of interest charged.
• Your rate will depend on the size of loan compared to the value of your property - see the table below.
• Early Repayment Charges apply for the first three years.
• Rates in the table below and quotations for this product will be updated with the new Bank of England base rate of 5.00% on 14th May.
