How long does my current product last for?


You can call our Contact Centre on 0800 915 0517^ or visit your local branch, where an adviser can take a look at your existing mortgage and answer any questions you might have.

Can I switch to a different deal with you?


If you contact your local branch or call our contact centre on 0800 915 0517^ then we can discuss this with you.

How will this affect my Britannia Membership Reward?


Changing your product won't change your Britannia Membership Reward payments.

What rates are available?


You can find out what our current rates are by looking at our Fixed Rate Mortgages, Flexible mortgages and Offset Mortgages.

Can I make a capital repayment at the same time as switching product?


Yes - we will deduct this before starting your new product.

Can I add fees to the mortgage?


The arrangement and administration fees can be added to Fixed rate and Tracker mortgages. However, it is not possible to add fees to a Flexible or Offset mortgage.

You will also not be able to add any Early Repayment Charges that you might have on your present product.

How can I see how much I owe on my mortgage?


If you contact your local branch or call our contact centre on 0800 915 0517^ they will be able to give you your current mortgage balance.

Can I take additional borrowing and switch product at the same time?


We can look at arranging this for you - ask your branch adviser or the contact centre on 0800 915 0517^ for more information.

What if I want to move house?


All of our mortgages for existing customers are portable, so you can take them to a new property, subject to the usual conditions around porting.

Are there any Early Repayment Charges on my mortgage?


Call our Contact Centre on 0800 915 0517^ or visit your local branch. An adviser will be able to check your existing mortgage for any Early Repayment Charges.

What if I want to change the repayment type and term of my mortgage?


You can change both the repayment type and term of your mortgage free of charge, if its done at the same time as changing your product. If you do this at a later stage there will be a charge - see our list of mortgage account fees for more details.

I am experiencing financial difficulties with regards to paying my mortgage - who can I speak to?


If you are having difficulty paying your mortgage then take a look at our Financial Support page for some advice on what to do next.

How do I transfer the mortgage from two names to one or add another name to the mortgage?


You will need to perform a Transfer of Equity on your current mortgage. If you mention that you want to do this when applying for your new mortgage product, we can advise you of what will need to happen and how the Transfer of Equity works.
