Why should your friend join us?
We’re dedicated to our members, not to shareholders. So we can use our profits to create better products and services for our customers. On top of that, with no shareholders to answer to our members receive a share of our profits. Through our unique Britannia Membership Reward we reward our members with a share of our profits that can be as much as £500 every year, subject to scheme rules. No wonder 88% of our members say they’d recommend us to others (Member Satisfaction Survey, Q4 2007).

At Britannia we believe in being fair
When joining Britannia, your friend can expect to get a fair deal. Here are just some of the ways we're building a fairer society...

• We don't have any shareholders to please, which means we can share our profits with our members instead.
• We give our members a fair say in how things are done. Because we're owned by our members, they get to vote every year in our Annual General Meeting on how Britannia is managed.
• Our policy is to only lend our members amounts they can comfortably pay back.
• We don't give new customers better deals at the expense of existing ones.

When you recommend us to a friend before 31st December 2008 we'll give you a thank you gift. You can choose from:

Britannia Membership Reward points
If you're a qualifying member, add more to your annual cash bonus in our unique Britannia Membership Reward Scheme with 100 extra points for each person you recommend to Britannia. Please note that the 100 extra points is a one-off bonus payment that will be added to your 2009 reward payment and is subject to scheme rules. Please see "BMR Extra Points Terms & Conditions" on the back page of the Friends of Britannia leaflet for more information.

Family cinema tickets
Enjoy the latest films with ODEON with a family cinema ticket for two adults and two children under 14 years. Tickets can be used in over 100 ODEON cinemas across the UK (not including central London).

To recommend a friend, just fill out the Friends of Britannia coupon on the leaflet and give it to a friend. Ask them to fill in the reverse and hand it in when they open an account with us. Your friend must open an account before 31 December 2008. When they’ve become a member, we’ll send you your chosen gift.
