The programme includes:
Formal and informal development opportunities
- You will own your development and plan
- You'll be encouraged to develop yourself and undertake appropriate self-development activities. You will be supported by a placement manager, and will jointly agree and put in place individual personal development plans. You'll also have regular meetings with your placement manager to monitor your progress, and to ensure you're getting all the training you need.
- You may even be able to take advantage of our professional education and learning scheme to further your development and enhance your progression possibilities with us.
Experience in different roles across the Group
- In keeping with your professional objectives, you will be given the opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced people within various departments of the business, create networks and gain a broader insight into Britannia activities.
Excellent support networks
- Excellerate! team members will be supported throughout the duration of the programme. Each individual will have a number of placement managers, a mentor and a peer network which will all work together to ensure that objectives are reached and that the individual is able to achieve their personal career goals.
If successful, the aim is that after 2-3 years you'll be equipped to take on and excel in a true management role. For example, Operational Management in a Sales or processing arena; Project Management role or a more specialised role within some of our other business functions (such as HR, Finance, Risk etc.) During this time you'll hear and learn more about our strategy and values. You will need to represent these in everything you do and play an active role in helping us achieve our mission:-
