Members' Council - how to apply

The 2008 recruitment drive for new council members has now begun and we will be recruiting 9 new members early this year. We will be re-considering applications from this years' round. The closing date for applications has now passed, however we are always pleased to hear from people who are interested in becoming Council members and in particular people who...

• are committed members of Britannia
• have a mortgage and/or savings with the Society
• are happy to express their views
• are willing to work in a group
• are happy to challenge.

Every effort is made to ensure that the Council is representative of Britannia's membership and our application process ensures that we have an appropriate balance of gender, age, home town and ethnic background. There is also a balance between branch, contact centre, postal and internet customers.
