With effect from the 18th January 2008, Britannia will be aligning the Access Fees on a number of products as follows:
If you are a customer who holds a former Bristol & West Guaranteed Equity Bond which allows withdrawals via an Access Fee, we have made an amendment to your Terms and Conditions which changes the way in which your Access Fee is calculated. or If you are a Britannia customer who opened a Guaranteed Equity Bond between 26th May 2006 and 31st July 2006, your account may allow you to access your funds during the fixed term, subject to an Access Fee which may be substantial. In both instances, the revised Access Fee for making your withdrawal or transferring your ISA to another provider is:
The £100 administration fee has also been removed (if previously applicable). The Access Fee may be substantial. If you require a withdrawal from your account, please contact us on 0845 121 7909 to request a withdrawal quotation. Lines are open 8am - 8pm Monday - Friday and 9am - 12 noon Saturday. Calls may be monitored and/or recorded. Calls from a BT Together landline will cost no more than 4 pence per minute plus a call set up fee of 6 pence. Mobile and other providers' charges may vary.
