We've given some answers to the most common questions we receive about Britannia Personal Loans below.
How much can I borrow?Loans are available from £1,000 up to £25,000. How quickly can I get the money? If your loan application is successful, funds are transferred to your bank account after we receive your signed loan documentation and can take 3-5 working days to clear from the date of transfer. To speed up the process you can use our optional secure courier service, which means your loan documents could be delivered to you within 24hrs (delivery may take longer in outlying areas or for evening or weekend applications). If you choose the optional courier service an additional £45 fee (plus a £5 levy if you request a specific delivery time), will be payable one month before your first monthly repayment. If you do not choose our secure courier option, your loan documents are sent by post. You must sign and return them to us before we can release the funds to you. Please note we cannot guarantee the timescales for delivery and return of documents sent through the post. How quickly do I get the decision? In most cases we offer instant decisions, although there may be occasions when we require further information before we can complete your application. What does 'Typical APR' mean? The Typical APR is the APR at or below which we expect 66% of customers to receive when applying for a loan as a result of the advertisements on this web site. How long can I take the loan over?On an unsecured loan the monies owed can be repaid over a period of between one and seven years. Are there charges if I repay the loan early? If you take out an agreement with us The Consumer Credit Act gives you the right to settle this agreement at any time by giving notice in writing and paying off the amount you owe under this agreement which may be reduced by a rebate. When would my first loan repayment be due?Your first repayment will be due in the third month after funds are issued. So if you took a loan in January, your repayments would begin in April. Who will be the lender?Britannia Loans are provided, subject to status, by Britannia Personal Lending Limited, City House, City Road, Chester, CH88 3AN. Registered in England, No. 3416733. Registered Office: Trinity Road, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 2RG.
