Before you decide to apply for our Payment Protection policy, you'll need to know how much it's going to cost you.
First, you need to decide whether you want accident and sickness cover, unemployment cover or both accident and sickness and unemployment cover. If you've decided on accident and sickness cover, then it will cost you £2.75 per month for every £100 of cover needed, or if you need just unemployment cover, £3 per month for every £100. Then again, if you've chosen the full accident, sickness and unemployment cover, it'll cost you £5.75 for every £100. For example, if your mortgage subscription is £500 per month, then full cover will cost £28.75 per month, unemployment cover only £15 per month or accident and sickness cover only £13.75. Of course you don't just have to cover your mortgage payments. To help you out with other bills, you can buy extra cover up to a maximum of £1,000 per month above your mortgage subscription for all those household bills. The maximum you can apply for is £2,500 including your mortgage subscription.
