Our Home and Contents, provided by Legal & General Insurance, Bronze policy covers your home against damage from fire, storm, flood and all the other major perils you may face and also provides contents cover to £20,000 including £5,000 of cover for valuables.

If you're a first time buyer or a younger couple, then here's a great entry level policy that still provides peace of mind.

Cover can include accidental damage - insuring you for things like spilling paint on the carpet, or putting your foot through the ceiling.

• New for old - Any items damaged beyond repair will be replaced by brand new items without deduction for wear and tear. The only exception is clothing more than 2 years old.

• Pay monthly at no extra cost - Unlike other major insurers, we don't charge you for paying monthly by Direct Debit.

Pay less for your premiums

There are a number of discounts available on our home insurance policies. For instance if your home is protected by door and window locks, a NACOSS alarm or a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme, you'll qualify for reductions in the price of your premium. Please ask on application for full details.

If you wish to increase the amount you pay towards a claim above the standard £50 excess, you can also obtain additional discounts ranging from 5% for an additional £50 voluntary excess to 25% for an additional voluntary excess of £500.

Membership Reward If you qualify for Membership Reward, after the initial qualifying period, we show our appreciation with an annual reward; currently a cash payment of up to a possible £500, subject to scheme rules and tenure.
