We're the UK's 2nd largest Building Society and want to be known as Britain's best mutual. We're committed to this and strive to put our customers first. This shows in the awards that have been presented to various areas of the Britannia Group. Amongst others, these include awards for our people, our products, subsidiaries and community.

The latest awards we've won include:

• a place in the Sunday Times list of the 20 best big companies to work for
• winner in the Banking category of Computer Weekly's Best Places to Work in IT awards
• Human Capital Managing Change Award

Britannia International won the Investment International award for Best Stock-Market Linked Savings Product, and Platform recently scooped Best Intermediary Mortgage Lender at the 2006 Your Mortgage Awards.

Awards we've bagged previously include Highly Commended Building Society, 2005 and Best Place to work in IT, 2005.
