Sponsorship

Why we’re involved in sponsorship

As part of a member owned organisation, we’ve always taken our personal and social responsibility seriously. By getting involved with our local communities through sponsorship, we’re able to put our historic values into practice and make a genuine contribution to local institutions.

Who we sponsor

Currently we are the principal sponsor for Stoke City Football Club this link will open the page over the top of your current page.

We also have affinity sponsorship agreements with Port Vale this link will open the page over the top of your current page and Ipswich Town this link will open the page over the top of your current page Football Clubs.

Our Heroes Campaign

Britannia and The Sentinel newspaper are once again calling for nominations to celebrate unsung heroes from across North Staffordshire and South Cheshire.

For the sixth year running, the Our Heroes campaign aims to highlight the often unrecognised efforts, determination and goodwill of people of all ages.

More information about the awards, including how to nominate someone, is available at www.thisisstaffordshire.co.uk/ourheroes2011 This link will open the page in a new window

The benefits of sponsorship

Community support
Sponsorship enables us to help support our local community, both by direct financial contributions and indirectly by encouraging involvement by individuals.

Football Ticket Giveaways
These are branch promotions to Britannia members run for Stoke City FC and Port Vale FC. The promotions run before the start of every season and include the opportunity to win a pair of match tickets for home games.

Club for life
By promoting football to youngsters and their families, we engage with audiences from young to old, helping to raise the profile and inspire a lifelong interest and loyalty in the local team.
