Fans photos will create stunning landmark
Supporters urged to ensure they are part of an iconic feature at Britannia Stadium
Britannia have today revealed more details about their plans to create a stunning landmark at the home of Stoke City Football Club as interest builds in their Proud to be a Potter campaign.
Thousands of photographs are being collected by City’s Principal Club Partner to create an iconic feature at the Britannia Stadium as supporters give their backing to the project.
Britannia, proud supporters of the Potters for more than a decade, will install 15-metre high images on the front of the West Stand featuring photographs submitted by the fans.
These iconic features will be unveiled in March and will be visible from miles around, creating a true Staffordshire landmark.
City’s Chief Executive Tony Scholes commented: “This is a unique opportunity for everyone who loves the Football Club to come together and prove they really are Proud to be a Potter.
“The Britannia Stadium is itself a prominent landmark and these images will certainly enhance that visual impact, which is why there has been a great sense of anticipation surrounding the plans to create something spectacular with the photographs submitted by fans.”
He added: “Our supporters have been widely acclaimed for their level of vocal backing and this campaign provides them with a wonderful opportunity to show that support in a different way.”
